8. French Fries
McDonald's fries are world-famous for a reason. In their ideal form, whole potatoes are sliced and then cooked to golden brown in McDonald's blend of vegetable oil. They are crunchy and perfectly salted. We said in their ideal form, because they are absolutely horrible when they are cold. As they cool, they become merely potato sticks that can not even be saved by a little ketchup.
