4. Walnuts
Walnuts are a plant-based source of omega-3s. Walnuts also contain antioxidants, vitamin E, polyphenols, and other nutrients that may decrease the oxidative damage or inflammation to the brain and improve brain health. They may also reduce the progression of dementia and other diseases such as Parkinson's.
