5. Milk And Cheese: 1-3 weeks past expiration date
While dairy milk can last up to 1 to 3 weeks before it gets sour, hard cheeses such as cheddar and Parmesan are still safe to eat after forming white or blue-green molds. Simply scrape off those molds or cut the parts, and they're again ready to take part in your mouth-watering mac and cheese or homemade pasta. Be sure to keep them dry or in the freezer, if you want your dairy products to live long and prosper!
