According to some research, there is a specific collection between red meat and arthritis inflammation. For example, high levels of inflammatory markers like interleukin-6(IL-6), C-reactive protein(CPR), and homocysteine can be tested from red meats or processed meat food. It means that high red meat intake can be a risk factor for inflammatory arthritis. Whereas, plant-based diets without red meat have been proven to improve arthritis symptoms.
