5. Foie Gras
Although the French delicacy foie gras is widely appreciated by the upper class, its production process, however, is heavily criticized. The gooses are force fed via a metal tube until their liver has enlarged to several times its usual size. Many countries have banned imports of the product, due to concerns over animal cruelty.
