Though the suspiciously pink, celery-shaped stalk is safe to use as a sweet application, its leaves are hazardous. You'll always be on your toes if you know that about 25 grams of oxalic acid, high in rhubarb leaves, is enough to cause death! Better stay away from this ruthless killer before it's too late.
