More than 50 million Americans are projected to travel by car or air during this holiday season. Especially in the unprecedented year of isolation and economic downturn, our eagerness to join family and friends is stronger than ever. But going back home could also put our parents (and grandparents) at risk for contracting the coronavirus because the elderly and those with pre-existing conditions are more vulnerable to the virus than most of us. So what do we do? At least some of us made a comprise: get tested for Covid before traveling. But does a negative result necessarily mean that you are coronavirus-free?
