After being criticized for promoting irresponsible and inappropriate ad during the national health crisis, Kentucky Fried Chicken temporarily dropped its famous "finger lickin' good" slogan. The slogan originated in a KFC television ad in Arizona, 1956. The company soon adopted it as the national slogan. However, the Global Chief Marketing Officer of KFC Catherine Tan-Gillespie promised consumers that the restaurant would not change a thing about their 11-herbs-and-spices recipe.
