During a recent interview with TIME, McDonald's CEO Chris Kempczinski revealed that there would be no more ball pits at McDonald's due to public health concerns. But did you know that they are full of germs even before the coronavirus pandemic? A study by the University of North Georgia showed that ball pits had "considerable microbial colonization".
