Raleigh, N.C., Jan. 14, 2026 — Santa Monica Seafood is voluntarily recalling Atlantic Salmon Portions with Seafood Stuffing because the product may contain undeclared soy, posing a risk of serious or life‑threatening allergic reactions to people with soy allergies or severe sensitivities; consumers who have a soy allergy should not eat the product and should stop using it immediately. The company identified the issue during a routine inspection of label proofs from a completed production batch, and the recall is being conducted with the knowledge of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. No illnesses have been reported to date.
Recalled items are sold under the Aldi brand as “Atlantic salmon portions with seafood stuffing,” 16 oz packages; the lot code(s) and product date code can be found on the white portion of the front label beneath the product image and by the use/freeze‑by date Jun. 02.25. The product has been sold online and at select U.S. retailers, including Aldi stores in California, Nevada and Arizona, and have been sold since May 24, 2025.
