Green Life Farms Issues Voluntary Recall of Baby Arugula Because of Possible Health Risk
  • Company: Green Life Farms
  • Product: Baby Arugula
  • Status: active
  • Date: Jun 08, 2024
  • Reason: Potential to be contaminated with Salmonella

Raleigh, N.C., Jan. 14, 2026 — Green Life Farms has recalled one lot of its 4-ounce Baby Arugula because the product may be contaminated with Salmonella, which can cause diarrhea, fever and abdominal cramps; vulnerable groups such as children under five, the elderly and immunocompromised individuals face higher risk. Consumers who have the affected product should stop using it immediately and either dispose of it or return it for a refund.

The recall applies only to Baby Arugula packages bearing lot code(s) LW15124 and a sell-by date of 6/15/24; the product is packaged in a clear 4-ounce plastic container with the lot code stamped on the top. These packages have been sold since May 31, 2024, online and at select U.S. retailers, including select Publix locations.

Green Life Farms says the potential contamination was identified through routine company testing of a single harvest and that no illnesses have been reported to date. Consumers who purchased Baby Arugula with lot code(s) LW15124 should return it to the place of purchase for a full refund or follow local disposal guidance; for questions or to request a refund or replacement contact the company by email at [email protected] or by phone at 1-888-213-9603. If you are unsure whether your product is affected, check the lot code on the package or contact the retailer for verification.
