Vanguard Enterprises, LLC. dba Bedrock MFG Recalls Monarch Premium Kratom Powder Because of Possible Health Risk

Raleigh, N.C., Jan. 14, 2026 — Vanguard Enterprises, LLC, doing business as Bedrock MFG of Boise, Idaho, has recalled Monarch Premium Kratom Bali Gold, Red Bali, Green Maeng Da, and White Elephant powder because the products may be contaminated with Salmonella, a bacteria that can cause fever, diarrhea, vomiting and more serious infections in vulnerable populations. Consumers are urged to stop using these products immediately and should not eat them.

The recalled items include Monarch Premium Kratom Bali Gold, Red Bali, Green Maeng Da, and White Elephant powders packaged in mylar pouches (sizes 14 g, 56 g, 112 g and 224 g) with the following lot code(s): 020123PA3F-T (Bali Gold), 020123PA3F-R (Red Bali), 020123PA3F-G (Green Maeng Da), and 020123PA3F-W (White Elephant), and corresponding UPCs as marked on the pouches. The products have been sold online and at select U.S. retailers and have been sold since April 1, 2023, through Sept. 30, 2023; they were not sold in Alabama, Arkansas, Indiana, Rhode Island, or Wisconsin.

Consumers who possess affected products should dispose of them or return them for a full refund and may request a replacement if available.
