Raleigh, N.C., Jan. 14, 2026 — Silvestri Sweets Inc. of Geneva, Ill., has recalled 5-ounce Choceur branded Holiday Barks because the products may contain undeclared allergens that pose a risk of serious or life‑threatening allergic reactions; consumers with pecan or wheat allergies should stop using the products immediately and not eat them. The company says no illnesses have been reported to date and the recall is voluntary following a production and packaging breakdown that led to cross‑packaging of Cookie Butter Holiday Bark and Pecan, Cranberry & Cinnamon Holiday Bark.

The affected products are 5 oz. Choceur stand‑up pouch bags with lot code(s) 29225: Cookie Butter Holiday Bark with a best‑by date of 05/2026 and Pecan, Cranberry & Cinnamon Holiday Bark with a best‑by date of 08/2026. The items have been sold nationwide online and at select U.S. retailers, including Aldi, and have been sold since Sept. 15, 2025; lot codes and best‑by dates are printed on the back of each bag.
