M&P Food Production Issues Allergy Alert on Undeclared Wheat and Milk in Vareniki, Pirozhki, and Blintzes

Raleigh, N.C., Jan. 14, 2026 — M&P Food Production Ltd. of Brooklyn, N.Y., has recalled multiple flavors of blintzes, pirozhki, and vareniki because the products may contain undeclared wheat, milk and/or sesame, creating a risk of serious or life‑threatening allergic reaction for consumers with allergies or severe sensitivities; consumers should stop using the products immediately and not eat them. The recall was initiated after an FDA inspection found items distributed in packaging that did not disclose those allergens. No illnesses have been reported to date.

The recalled products include Cheese & Cherry Blintzes (net wt. 14 oz., UPC 707163303257), Cheese Blintzes (net wt. 14 oz., UPC 707163303251), Pirozhki with Black Currant (40 pcs., no UPC), Pirozhki with Potatoes (40 pcs., no UPC), Pirozhki with Cabbage (40 pcs., no UPC), Sour Cherry Vareniki (net wt. 14 oz., UPC 707163026150), Potato & Onion Vareniki (net wt. 14 oz., UPC 707163026167), Potato & Mushroom Vareniki (net wt. 14 oz., UPC 707163026174), and Farmer Cheese Vareniki (net wt. 14 oz., UPC 707163026181). The products have best‑before dates ranging from Aug. 27, 2024, to Aug. 27, 2025, and have been sold since Aug. 27, 2023, online and at select U.S. retailers in Connecticut, Florida, New York, New Jersey and Maryland.
