Raleigh, N.C., Jan. 14, 2026 — VH Foods Inc., doing business as Outside The Breadbox of Colorado Springs, Colo., has recalled its 8-ounce "Bread Crumbs" because the product may contain undeclared egg and milk, posing a risk to consumers with egg or milk allergies; consumers should stop using the product immediately and not eat it. The recall was initiated after the company discovered that a temporary breakdown in production and packaging processes allowed egg and milk to be distributed in packaging that did not disclose those ingredients. No illnesses have been reported to date.

The recalled product is labeled "Bread Crumbs," packaged in a clear stand-up pouch, net weight 8 oz, with UPC 873899001554 and an expiration date stamped 05/20/2026 on the bottom; the affected lot code(s) were produced on one production date. The product has been sold online at store.outsidethebreadbox.com and at select Colorado retail stores and through mail orders in the U.S., and have been sold since Nov. 24, 2025 through Dec. 1, 2025.
