Homegrown Family Foods Issues Allergy Alert on Undeclared Milk in Shore Lunch Oven Style Breader & Batter Mix

Raleigh, N.C., Jan. 14, 2026 — Homegrown Family Foods has recalled Shore Lunch Oven Style Breader & Batter Mix 6 oz boxes because they contain undeclared milk, posing a risk of serious or life‑threatening allergic reactions to people with milk allergy or severe sensitivity. Consumers who have the affected product are urged to stop using it immediately and not to eat it.

The recall covers Shore Lunch Oven Style Breader & Batter Mix 6 oz (170 g) boxes with lot code(s) RP117050, RP120012, RP120011, RP120013, RP123249, RP123389, RP129004, RP129005 and RP129006, UPC 2473912000 and Best By dates April 23, 2025 through February 25, 2026; Best By date and lot code are printed on the top of the box and the UPC is on the bottom. The product has been sold online and at select U.S. retailers primarily in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, New York, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota and Wisconsin and have been sold since April 29, 2024 through May 1, 2025.

Consumers with the affected product who have a dairy allergy or sensitivity should dispose of or return the product to the place of purchase for a full refund or request a replacement; others may also return the product for refund.
