Raleigh, N.C., Jan. 14, 2026 — Tipical Latin Food Corp. of Miami, Fla., has recalled Cachapa de Maiz sweet corn pancakes labeled under Los Andes Foods because the product may contain undeclared wheat, posing a risk of serious or life‑threatening allergic reactions to people with wheat allergy or severe sensitivity; consumers should stop using the product immediately and not eat it. The recall was initiated after the company discovered that products containing wheat were distributed in packaging that failed to disclose wheat on the label.
The affected product is Cachapa de Maiz (sweet corn pancakes) with lot code(s) 2622404 through 2772412, identified by a yellow label and vacuum‑sealed bag with the lot number on a blue label at the bottom of the bag. The product has been sold online and at select U.S. retailers and wholesalers since Sept. 15, 2025, and was distributed through TRIMAR USA LLC in Miami, Fla., to retail and wholesale customers nationwide.
No illnesses have been reported to date.
