Raleigh, N.C., Jan. 14, 2026 — Albertsons Companies has voluntarily recalled five ReadyMeals and store-made taco kits supplied by Fresh Creative Foods because they may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes, posing a risk of serious illness, miscarriage or death for vulnerable populations. Consumers are urged to stop using these products immediately and not to eat them; anyone who has these items should dispose of them or return them to the place of purchase for a full refund.

These products have been sold online and at select U.S. retailers under Albertsons, Safeway, Vons, Tom Thumb, Randalls, Carrs‑Safeway, Pavilions, Shaw’s, Star Market, Lucky, Eagle and related banners in multiple states since Sept. 15, 2025; consumers should check their packaging and receipts for product names and lot codes listed above.
