Nestlé USA Announces Voluntary Recall of Limited Quantity of NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Bar (16.5 Oz) Due to Potential Presence of Foreign Material

Raleigh, N.C., Jan. 14, 2026 — Nestlé USA has recalled two limited batches of NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough “break and bake” Bar (16.5 oz) because the products may contain wood fragments, creating a risk of mouth or throat injury if consumed; consumers should stop using the identified products immediately and not eat them.

The recall applies to NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Bar (16.5 oz) with lot code(s) 311457531K (Best By 8/22/23) and 311557534K (Best By 10/23/23). The products have been sold online and at select U.S. retailers and have been sold since April 24, 2023. This recall is limited to the specified lot code(s) and does not involve other Nestlé Toll House refrigerated cookie dough varieties, rolls, tubs or edible cookie dough.

Consumers who purchased the affected lot code(s) should not prepare or consume the product and may return it to the retailer for a refund or replacement or dispose of it if a return is not feasible; to request a refund or replacement or for additional assistance, contact Nestlé USA at [email protected] or by phone at (800) 681-1678, Monday–Friday, 9 a.m.–6 p.m. EST.
