Raleigh, N.C., Jan. 14, 2026 — Fresh Creative Foods, a division of Reser’s Fine Foods, Inc., has voluntarily recalled multiple dressing products and one taco kit because of possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination in a cheese ingredient supplied by Rizo-López Foods, Inc.; consumers are urged not to eat these products and should stop using them immediately. Listeria can cause serious illness in young children, older adults, pregnant people and those with weakened immune systems, and can lead to miscarriage or stillbirth in pregnant women.
The recalled items include cremas and everything sauces, cilantro cotija dressing, poblano Caesar dressing, cilantro dressing, and one taco kit; affected lot code(s) are identified by the company and listed on its recall notice. The products have been sold online and at select U.S. retailers, including Costco, H-E-B, Trader Joe’s and Albertson’s, in California, Connecticut, Florida, Idaho, Illinois, Maryland, Montana, New Jersey, Nevada, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Virginia and Washington, and have been sold since Sept. 15, 2025.
Consumers who purchased the listed products should not consume them and may return them to the place of purchase for a refund or dispose of them; consumers seeking a refund or replacement may contact Reser’s/Fresh Creative Foods customer service by email at [email protected] for instructions and to request reimbursement.
