Recall Details
Raleigh, N.C., Jan. 14, 2026 — Snapchill LLC of Green Bay, Wis., has voluntarily recalled all canned coffee products manufactured by the company that remain within their expiration dates because the company’s low-acid canning process could allow growth and production of the deadly botulinum toxin. Botulism, a potentially fatal form of foodborne illness, can cause weakness, dizziness, double vision, difficulty speaking or swallowing, breathing problems and other symptoms that may appear from six hours to two weeks after exposure. Consumers should stop using these products immediately and seek prompt medical attention if they develop symptoms consistent with botulism.
The recalled items include a range of Snapchill-manufactured canned coffees sold under various roaster and brand names and in metal can sizes of approximately 7 oz to 12 oz; they are identifiable by the statement “Produced and distributed by Snapchill LLC” beneath the nutrition facts panel and, in some cases, by “Snapchill Coffee” on the label. The specific products and lot code(s) are listed on the company’s official recall notice; these products have been sold online and at select U.S. retailers and through various coffee roasters and retail locations, and have been sold since Sept. 15, 2025.
Consumers should either destroy affected products or return them to the place of purchase or to Snapchill for a full refund; Snapchill will accept appropriate proof of purchase, including a photo of the product before destruction, or processing per the company’s return instructions. For refund or replacement instructions and the complete list of product lot code(s), contact Snapchill by email at [email protected] or by phone at (920) 632-6018, Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. Central Time. If you cannot locate the lot code(s) or the product list, please consult the company’s recall notice or contact local health authorities for guidance.
