H-E-B Issues Voluntary Recall for 3-Ounce Cups of Creamy Creations Ice Cream in Select Flavors

Raleigh, N.C., Jan. 14, 2026 — H-E-B has voluntarily recalled certain 12-count packages of 3-ounce Creamy Creations ice cream cups because they may contain metal fragments, posing a laceration and choking risk; consumers should stop using the affected products immediately and not eat them. To date, the company reports no injuries related to the recall, and all identified product has been removed from store shelves.

The recall covers specific product names and lot code(s): 3-ounce H-E-B Creamy Creations Chocolate Ice Cream — 12 pack (lot code(s) with code dates 9/6/2024, 9/7/2024, 9/8/2024, 9/9/2024, 9/10/2024, 9/11/2024, 9/13/2024, 9/14/2024; UPC 4122062948); 3-ounce H-E-B Creamy Creations Lime/Orange Combo — 12 pack (lot code(s) with code dates 8/31/2024, 9/1/2024, 9/2/2024, 9/3/2024; UPC 4122081930); and 3-ounce H-E-B Creamy Creations Homemade/Chocolate Combo — 12 pack (lot code(s) with code dates 9/11/2024 through 9/21/2024; UPC 4122081931). The UPC and code dates are printed on the back of the product’s outer bag, and the products have been sold online and at select U.S. retailers, including all H-E-B stores in Texas, Central Market, Joe V’s Smart Shop and Mi Tienda stores; the items have been sold since Aug. 31, 2024.

Consumers should dispose of or return the affected products to the place of purchase for a full refund or request a replacement, and should not open or consume the cups.
