Raleigh, N.C., Jan. 14, 2026 — Mellace Family Brands California, Inc. of Warren, Ohio, has recalled Wegmans Deluxe Mixed Nuts Unsalted because the products have the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella, a bacterium that can cause fever, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting and more severe illness in vulnerable populations. Consumers are advised to stop using the recalled products immediately and not to eat them.
The recall affects Wegmans Deluxe Mixed Nuts Unsalted 34 oz (964 g) packaged in a plastic tub, lot code(s) 58041 (UPC 077890421314), best by JUL 28, 2026; and Wegmans Deluxe Mixed Nuts Unsalted 11.5 oz (326 g) packaged in a plastic bag, lot code(s) 58171 (UPC 077890421352), best by AUG 10, 2026. The affected products have been sold online and at select U.S. retailers, including Wegmans stores in Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, Massachusetts, North Carolina, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Washington, D.C., and have been sold since Nov. 3, 2025, through Dec. 1, 2025. Consumers can find the lot code and best by date on the side of the tub (34 oz) above the nutrition label or on the back of the bag (11.5 oz) below the nutrition label.
