Recall Details
Bonduel, Wis., Jan. 14, 2026 — Milo’s Poultry Farms, LLC. is recalling all eggs sold under the “Milo’s Poultry Farms” and “Tony’s Fresh Market” brands because they have the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella, a pathogen that can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, the elderly and people with weakened immune systems. Consumers are urged to stop using these eggs immediately and not to eat them.
The recall covers all carton sizes and egg types labeled “Milo’s Poultry Farms” (all expiration dates), all carton sizes of “Tony’s Fresh Market” eggs (all expiration dates), and all cases of eggs supplied for retail foodservice distribution (all expiration dates). The products have been distributed in Wisconsin, Illinois and Michigan, online and at select U.S. retailers, and have been sold since Sept. 15, 2025. The recall follows FDA environmental sampling that tested positive for Salmonella and whole genome sequencing linking the samples to an ongoing outbreak investigation.
Consumers should dispose of or return the eggs to the place of purchase for a refund or request a replacement; if unsure, do not consume and discard in a sealed container. Milo’s Poultry Farms has ceased production and distribution pending cleaning, sanitization and testing of farms and processing equipment. For questions or to request a refund or replacement, consumers may email the company at [email protected] or call (715) 758-6709; consumers should also consult their retailer’s recall instructions.
