USA of Brooklyn, N.Y., has recalled its ARAL Silver Vobla (branded “ARAL”) dry salted whole fish after state inspection and laboratory analysis found the product was uneviscerated, creating a risk of botulism from Clostridium botulinum spores concentrated in the viscera; consumers are advised to stop using the product immediately and not eat it.
