Recall Details
Raleigh, N.C., Jan. 14, 2026 — Raw Bistro Pet Fare of Cannon Falls, Minn., has voluntarily recalled two frozen beef dog food products because they may be contaminated with Salmonella, which can make animals sick and pose a risk to humans who handle the products; consumers should stop using the recalled products immediately and avoid contact with other pet food or surfaces until cleaned. People exposed to the product who develop symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal cramps or fever should seek medical attention, and pet owners whose animals show lethargy, diarrhea, vomiting or loss of appetite should contact a veterinarian.
The recall covers Raw Bistro Dog Fare Grass-Fed Beef Entrée, Frozen — 3 lb bags (UPC 858833002247) — and Raw Bistro Dog Fare Grass-Fed Beef Entrée, Bulk, Frozen — 18 lb cases (UPC 858833002629) — both bearing lot code(s) 239 and a “Best By” date of 08/27/2026 printed on the bottom rear of the package. The affected lot has been sold direct-to-consumer and at select distributors online and at select U.S. retailers in California, Colorado, Illinois and Minnesota and have been sold since Sept. 1, 2025; distribution to those locations occurred through Sept. 17, 2025.
Consumers should not feed, sell or donate the recalled products and should either return them to the place of purchase for a refund or dispose of them so they are not accessible to children, pets or wildlife; thoroughly clean and sanitize bowls, utensils, storage containers and any surfaces that may have contacted the product and wash hands after handling.
