Raleigh, N.C., Jan. 14, 2026 — Sno Pac Foods of Caledonia, Minn., has recalled Del Mar 35 lb Bulk Organic Frozen Spinach and Sno Pac 10 oz Organic Frozen Cut Spinach because they may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes, a bacterium that can cause serious or fatal infections in young children, elderly or immunocompromised persons and can cause miscarriage in pregnant women. Consumers should not eat the products and should stop using them immediately.
The recall covers Del Mar 35 lb boxes with lot code(s) 250107A, 250107B, 250107C, 250107D, 2501071 and 2501073 (exp. 1/7/27) and 10-ounce poly retail packages of Sno Pac Organic Frozen Cut Spinach with lot code(s) SPM1.190.5 (best by 7/9/27), SPC1.160.5 (best by 6/9/27), SPC2.160.5 (best by 6/9/27) and SPM1.097.5 (best by 4/7/27). The products have been sold nationwide online and at select U.S. retailers and have been sold since Sept. 15, 2025.
Consumers who have purchased these products are urged to dispose of them or return them to the place of purchase for a full refund, or contact Sno Pac Foods to request a refund or replacement. Production has been suspended while the company investigates the source of contamination; no illnesses have been reported to date.
