Raleigh, N.C., Jan. 14, 2026 — Gerber Products Company has recalled and discontinued all batches of GERBER® SOOTHE N CHEW® Teething Sticks because they pose a potential choking hazard to babies and young children; consumers should stop using the product immediately and do not feed it to children. The recall follows consumer reports of choking incidents, including one emergency room visit, and is being conducted in coordination with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
The recalled products include GERBER® SOOTHE N CHEW® Teething Sticks — Strawberry Apple, Net Wt. 3.2 oz (90 g), UPC 0 15000 04618 7, all lot code(s); GERBER® SOOTHE N CHEW® Teething Sticks — Banana, Net Wt. 3.2 oz (90 g), UPC 0 15000 04608 8, all lot code(s); and GERBER® SOOTHE N CHEW® Teething Sticks — Banana, Net Wt. 1.59 oz (45 g), UPC 0 15000 01015 7, all lot code(s). These products have been sold online and at select U.S. retailers nationwide, including distribution to stores and centers in all 50 states and Puerto Rico, and have been sold since Sept. 15, 2025 (consumers should verify purchase dates and lot code(s) on their packaging).
Consumers should return the product to the retailer where it was purchased for a refund or dispose of it immediately; do not give the product to others.
