Recall Details
Raleigh, N.C., Jan. 14, 2026 — Sammy’s Milk has issued a consumer warning for its Goat Milk Toddler Formula after the U.S. Food and Drug Administration raised concerns that the product may not meet all FDA requirements for infant formula and could be unsafe or fail to provide sufficient nutrition if used as an infant formula. Consumers are advised to stop using the product for infants under 12 months immediately and not to feed it to infants.
The affected product is marketed as Goat Milk Toddler Formula, lot code(s) SD348, with a “Best by” date of August 2025. Sammy’s Milk says the formula is specifically formulated for children ages 12–36 months and has been sold online and at select U.S. retailers since Sept. 15, 2025. Packaging and company communications that might be interpreted as indicating the product is suitable for infants prompted the FDA review.
Consumers who have purchased the product should dispose of it or return it to the place of purchase for a refund or replacement; caregivers who may have fed the product to infants should consult a healthcare professional promptly. For refund, replacement, or further information contact Sammy’s Milk customer service at [email protected]. If additional details are needed, check the company website or consult the FDA guidance on infant nutrition.
