Raleigh, N.C., Jan. 14, 2026 — Nirwana Foods of NJ has recalled its 28-ounce Golden Raisin pouches because they may contain undeclared sulfites, posing a risk of serious or life‑threatening allergic reactions to sulfite‑sensitive consumers; consumers who have this product should stop using it immediately and not eat it. These pouches have been sold since Sept. 15, 2025, online and at select U.S. retailers, including Maharaja Super Market locations in New York and Villager Farmers Market stores in New York and New Jersey.
