Sunco & Frenchie Issues an Allergy Alert on Undeclared Sulfites in Golden Raisins

Raleigh, N.C., Jan. 14, 2026 — Sunco & Frenchie LLC of Pine Brook, N.J., has recalled 10‑ounce Terrafina Golden Raisins because they may contain undeclared sulfites, posing a risk of serious or life‑threatening allergic reactions to consumers with sulfite sensitivity. Consumers are urged not to eat the product and to stop using it immediately.

The recalled product is Terrafina Golden Raisins in a 10‑ounce clear plastic square container with bright orange front labeling; lot code(s): GRA240602 (Best If Used By 08/2025) and GDR240901 (Best If Used By 05/2025). UPC 847938001385. The product has been sold in New York, online and at select U.S. retailers, and have been sold since Sept. 15, 2025. The recall follows routine sampling by the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets and laboratory analysis that found sulfites in packages without sulfite labeling; no illnesses have been reported to date.

Consumers who purchased Terrafina Golden Raisins should dispose of the product or return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
