Raleigh, N.C., Jan. 14, 2026 — Fischer & Wieser Specialty Foods has recalled 31.4-ounce jars of H‑E‑B Creamy Tomato Basil Soup because the product may contain glass, posing a physical contamination risk; consumers should stop using the product immediately and do not eat it. The company says no injuries have been reported and all affected product has been removed from store shelves.

The recall applies to H‑E‑B Creamy Tomato Basil Soup, lot code(s): 22871, Best By: 10/14/22, with UPC 4122070619, in 31.4 oz. jars. The product have been sold online and at select U.S. retailers and H‑E‑B stores and have been sold since Sept. 15, 2025; consumers should check the lot code printed on the jar below the lid to determine whether their product is affected.

Consumers should dispose of the product or return it to any H‑E‑B store for a full refund; do not attempt to consume or serve the soup.
