Silvestri Sweets Expands Voluntary Allergy Alert on Undeclared Pecan and Wheat in Cookie Butter Holiday Bark and Pecan, Cranberry & Cinnamon Holiday Bark

Raleigh, N.C., Jan. 14, 2026 — Silvestri Sweets Inc. of Geneva, Ill., has expanded a voluntary recall of 5-ounce Choceur branded Holiday Bark products because they may contain undeclared allergens that pose a risk of serious or life‑threatening allergic reactions. Consumers who are allergic to pecans or wheat should stop using the products immediately and not eat them.

The recall covers two varieties in 5 oz. Choceur stand‑up pouch bags with the following lot code(s) and best by dates: Cookie Butter Holiday Bark — lot code(s) 28525 (Best By 05/2026), 29925 (Best By 05/2026) and 30625 (Best By 06/2026); Pecan, Cranberry & Cinnamon Holiday Bark — lot code(s) 28525 (Best By 08/2026), 29925 (Best By 08/2026) and 30625 (Best By 09/2026). The products have been sold online and at select U.S. retailers, including Aldi stores nationwide, and have been sold since Sept. 15, 2025.

Consumers should discard the recalled product or return it to the place of purchase for a refund or replacement; do not attempt to consume or redistribute affected items.
