Raleigh, N.C., Jan. 14, 2026 — Schreiber Foods, Inc. of Green Bay, Wis., has voluntarily recalled 144 cases of Einstein Bros. Brand Honey Almond Cream Cheese Spread because the product may contain undeclared almonds, posing a risk of serious or life‑threatening allergic reaction to anyone with an almond allergy or severe sensitivity; consumers who purchased the affected product should stop using it immediately and not eat it.
The recall covers Einstein Bros. Brand Honey Almond Cream Cheese Spread in 6‑ounce plastic cups bearing the lot code(s) Best If Used By Jul 21, 2026 LO. The product has a Honey Almond lid but a Plain cup, indicating a mismatched lid/cup packaging error. The spread has been sold online and at select U.S. retailers, including Einstein Bros. Bagel locations in Colorado, Utah, New Mexico and Wyoming, and have been sold since Sept. 15, 2025; no illnesses have been reported to date.
