Raleigh, N.C., Jan. 14, 2026 — Liaoning Cheng Da USA Inc. of San Gabriel, Calif., has recalled Wangzhihe Hot Pot Sauce because it may contain undeclared peanut, soy, sesame and wheat, posing a risk of serious or life‑threatening allergic reactions to consumers with allergies or severe sensitivities; consumers should stop using the product immediately and do not eat it. The recall was initiated after the manufacturer discovered products containing those allergens were distributed in packaging that failed to declare them. No illnesses have been reported to date.
The recall covers Wangzhihe Hot Pot Sauce in regular and spicy flavors, packaged in 160‑gram (5.64 oz) plastic containers with lot code(s): 2023/12/20, 2024/1/31, 2024/4/15 and 2024/10/18. UPC numbers 6907592001375 and 6907592001382 appear on the front of the packages. The products have been sold online and at select U.S. retailers, including 99 Ranch Market, Hawaii Supermarket and Great Wall Supermarket, and have been sold since Dec. 20, 2023; consumers should check lot codes and UPCs before handling any product they have purchased.
Consumers should dispose of the sauce or return it to the place of purchase for a full refund; if returning, follow the original seller’s return instructions.
