Raleigh, N.C., Jan. 14, 2026 — Blue Bell Creameries has recalled a limited quantity of Moo-llennium Crunch ice cream half gallons after discovering they were mistakenly packaged in Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough cartons and therefore contain undeclared almonds, walnuts and pecans, posing a risk of serious or life‑threatening allergic reactions; consumers who are allergic to tree nuts should not eat the product and should stop using it immediately. The company says no illnesses have been reported and the recall is being conducted in coordination with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
The affected product is identified as Moo-llennium Crunch Ice Cream packaged in a Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough half‑gallon carton with a Moo-llennium Crunch lid, bearing lot code(s): 061027524. These half gallons have been sold online and at select U.S. retailers in Alabama, Arkansas, the Florida Panhandle, northwest Georgia, southern Indiana, southern Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas and southwest Virginia, and have been sold since Aug. 22, 2025.
