Raleigh, N.C., Jan. 14, 2026 — Ocinet, Inc. of Downey, California, has recalled all “…And Kimchi” branded sliced kimchi because the product contains undeclared fish (anchovies), posing a risk of a serious or life‑threatening allergic reaction to people with fish allergies. Consumers who have purchased this product should stop using it immediately and not eat it.
The recall covers jars sold under the “…And Kimchi” logo in three sizes: 126 oz (3.57 kg), 63 oz (1.78 kg) and 30 oz (850 g), with lot code(s) printed on the jar; UPC numbers include 8541200408 (126 oz), 8651200409 (63 oz) and 8541200411 (30 oz). The product has been sold online and at select U.S. retailers, including six Zion Market locations in San Diego, Irvine, Los Angeles, Buena Park, Duluth (Ga.) and Lewisville (Texas), and these items have been sold since Sept. 15, 2025. Distribution has been suspended while the company investigates and corrects labeling procedures; no illnesses have been reported to date.
Consumers should return the product to the retail store where it was purchased for a full refund or dispose of it safely if return is not possible.
