Kedake Inc. Issues Allergy Alert on Undeclared Sesame, Soy, Wheat, Yellow No. 5, Yellow No. 6, and Red No. 6 in Botana Mix Snacks

Raleigh, N.C., Jan. 14, 2026 — Kedake, Inc. of Houston, Texas, has recalled 2 lb packages of Las Ollas Botana Mix Snacks because the packages may contain undeclared sesame, soy, wheat and artificial colors Yellow No. 5, Yellow No. 6 and Red No. 6, posing a risk of serious or life‑threatening allergic reactions. Consumers who have these allergies or severe sensitivities should stop using the product immediately and not eat it.

The affected product is identified as Las Ollas Botana Mix Snacks in 2 lb plastic bags with a pink and white label displaying “Botana Mix Snacks and Delights” and the Las Ollas brand; a UPC is on the front and the expiration date is on the back. Lot code(s): not printed on recalled packages due to a label printing error; consumers should rely on the 2 lb packaging appearance described above. The product has been sold in Texas through wholesale and retail stores since Sept. 15, 2025, and was not sold online.

Consumers should return the 2 lb packages to the place of purchase for a full refund or dispose of them if a return is not possible.
