Ben’s Original™ Issues Voluntary Recall of Select Ben's Original Long Grain White, Whole Grain Brown, and Long Grain & Wild Ready Rice Products Due to Possible Presence of Small Stones from Farm

Raleigh, N.C., Jan. 14, 2026 — Ben’s Original has issued a voluntary recall of limited batches of its Ready Rice products—Long Grain White, Whole Grain Brown, and Long Grain & Wild—because small, naturally occurring stones from the rice farm may be present, posing a risk of oral or digestive tract injury if consumed. Consumers who have these products should stop using them immediately and not eat the rice.

The affected products are identified by the following lot code(s) and best-by dates printed on the bottom seal of the back of the package: Ben’s Original Ready Rice Long Grain White Rice (lot code(s) 533ELGRV22, 534ALGRV22; best by Aug. 2026), Whole Grain Brown Rice (lot code(s) 534AMGRV22, 534BMGRV22, 534DMGRV22; best by Aug. 2026), and Long Grain & Wild Rice (lot code(s) 533BMGRV22, 533CLGRV22, 533CMGRV22; best by Aug. 2026). These products have been sold online and at select U.S. retailers, including HEB, Target, Amazon and Piggly Wiggly, and distributed by Associated Grocers, C&S and Dot Foods from August through September; additional retailers may have received affected product.

Consumers should dispose of or return affected packages to the place of purchase for a refund or replacement, or contact Ben’s Original Consumer Care to request a refund or replacement and for additional guidance.
