Raleigh, N.C., Jan. 14, 2026 — Kettle Cuisine of Lynn, Mass., has recalled 24‑ounce cups of Whole Foods Market Kitchen Minestrone Soup because a product containing undeclared shrimp may be present, posing a serious or life‑threatening risk to people with crustacean shellfish (shrimp) allergies. Consumers with shrimp allergies should stop using the product immediately and not eat it.
The recalled product is sold in 24‑ounce clear plastic cups marked with lot code(s): 1762181 and Use By 05/27/26 on the top rim, and UPC 099482502065 on the back label. These cups have been sold since Sept. 15, 2025, in Whole Foods Market stores in AL, CT, DC, FL, GA, MA, MD, ME, MS, NC, NH, NJ, NY, PA, RI, SC, TN and VA, and online nationwide through Whole Foods’ website and Amazon.
Consumers should return the affected cups to the place of purchase for a full refund or dispose of them safely; if unsure whether a product is affected, customers should check packaging for the lot code and UPC. No other soups or use‑by codes are included in this recall, and no illnesses have been reported to date.
