Petoskey, Mich., Jan. 14, 2026 — Kilwins Quality Confections, LLC. has voluntarily recalled its Mocha Truffles because they may contain undeclared pecans, posing a risk of serious or life‑threatening allergic reaction to people with pecan allergies or severe sensitivities; consumers who have these truffles should stop using them immediately and not eat them. No illnesses have been reported to date. The company says the recall was initiated after it discovered that a product containing pecans was placed in packaging that did not disclose the nut ingredient.

The affected products include Mocha Truffles and assorted truffle packages with the following lot code(s) and item numbers that appear below the barcode: 4564 Family Assortment 9 oz; 4565 Family Assortment 14 oz; 4566 Family Assortment 28 oz; 4567 Family Assortment 42 oz; 4574 Truffle Assortment 9.5 oz; 43109 Truffle Assortment 8 oz; 43110 Mocha Truffles 4.75 oz; and 44121 Truffle Assortment 4.75 oz. These items have been sold since April 28, 2025, and may have been sold through nine Kilwins retail stores in Orange Beach, AL; Coral Springs, FL; Vero Beach, FL; Winter Park, FL; Thomasville, GA; Annapolis, MD; Portsmouth, NH; Wilmington, NC; and Alexandria, VA; consumers should also check online and at select U.S. retailers where Kilwins products are sold for similar packaging and lot codes.

Consumers who purchased the affected products from April 28, 2025 through May 30, 2025 are urged to return them to any Kilwins location for a full refund or to dispose of them; consumers seeking a replacement or to request a refund may contact Kilwins Quality Confections, LLC. for assistance.
