Raleigh, N.C., Jan. 14, 2026 — JFE Franchising, Inc. is recalling a limited number of SNOWFRUIT and SNOWFOX prepackaged fresh produce items because they may be contaminated with Salmonella, a bacterium that can cause serious illness; consumers are urged not to eat the products and to stop using them immediately. To date, no illnesses or consumer complaints have been reported in connection with this recall. The central risk is salmonellosis, which can cause fever, diarrhea, nausea and vomiting and can be serious for young children, the elderly and people with weakened immune systems.

The recall covers specific SNOWFRUIT and SNOWFOX products sold in plastic containers and labeled under the SNOWFRUIT or SNOWFOX brands, including Cucumber Slices with Tajin (UPC 639123880222), Vegetable Bowl (639123880444 and 639123880727), Mixed Melon, Cucumber & Tajin (639123940070), Cucumber, Lime & Tajin (639123880536), Large and Small Vegetable Trays (639123880567; 639123880451), Cucumber Bowl with Ranch (639123880635), Garden Salad (639123880673), Family Garden Salad (639123880659), Cobb and Family Cobb Salads (639123880697; 639123880680), Chef Salad (639123950338), Cucumber with Ranch (639123950208), Watermelon & Cucumber w/ Tajin (639123940360), Cucumber Salad (639123892430) and Spicy Cucumber Salad (639123893291); affected lot code(s) include a range of codes packed between Oct. 12, 2024, and Nov. 29, 2024 (see company lists for complete lot code(s) and sell‑by ranges). These items have been sold online and at select U.S. retailers, including Kroger stores in Texas, Louisiana, Wyoming, Arizona and Colorado, and have been sold since Oct. 12, 2024.
