Handsome Brook Farms Issues Recall of Kirkland Signature Organic Pasture Raised 24-Count Eggs Because of Possible Health Risk

Raleigh, N.C., Jan. 14, 2026 — Handsome Brook Farms has voluntarily recalled certain Kirkland Signature Organic Pasture Raised 24-count eggs because the products may be contaminated with Salmonella, a bacteria that can cause fever, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting and, in vulnerable individuals, severe or life‑threatening infections. Consumers should stop using the affected eggs immediately and not eat them.

The recall applies to Kirkland Signature Organic Pasture Raised 24-count eggs, UPC 9661910680, with lot code(s) Julian code 327 and a Use By Date of Jan. 5, 2025. These units have been sold since Nov. 22, 2024, online and at select U.S. retailers, and were distributed to 25 Costco stores in Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee. No other Kirkland or Handsome Brook Farms products are included in this recall.
