Raleigh, N.C., July 3, 2026 — Frutas y Hortalizas del Sur S.A., San Carlos, Chile, has recalled GreenWise Organic IQF Blueberries 10 oz because the product may be contaminated with Escherichia coli O145:H28, a Shiga toxin-producing E. coli that can cause severe stomach cramps, diarrhea (which may be bloody), vomiting and, in some cases, hemolytic uremic syndrome (HUS). Consumers who have the affected product should stop using it immediately and not eat it.
The recalled item is Frozen GreenWise Organic IQF Blueberries, 10 oz, lot code(s): 60401, with a Best By date of February 9, 2028. The product has been sold online and at select U.S. retailers, including Publix stores across Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia, and has been sold since Sept. 15, 2025. No other lot codes or Best By dates are affected by this recall.
