Africa Imports Issues Voluntary Recall of Organic Moringa Leaf Powder Due to Potential Salmonella Contamination

Raleigh, N.C., Jan. 14, 2026 — Africa Imports has recalled its Organic Moringa Leaf Powder (1-kilogram box) because some material in the batch has tested positive for Salmonella, a pathogen that can cause fever, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting and, in vulnerable populations, serious or life-threatening complications. Consumers are advised to stop using the product immediately and not eat it due to the risk of Salmonella infection.

The affected product is labeled “Organic Moringa Leaf Powder” and packaged in 1-kilogram boxes; the recall covers all units from the implicated batch with lot code(s) included in sales beginning June 5, 2025.
