Prima® Wawona Recalls Bulk/Loose and Bagged Peaches Due to Possible Salmonella Risk

Raleigh, N.C., Jan. 14, 2026 — Prima® Wawona of Fresno, California has recalled multiple peach products because they may be contaminated with Salmonella, which can cause fever, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting and more serious infections in vulnerable people. Consumers are advised to stop using these peaches immediately and to not eat them.

The recall covers bulk/loose peaches sold in bins and bagged peaches sold under several brand names; affected bagged product lot code(s) include: Wawona Peaches – 033383322001; Wawona Organic Peaches – 849315000400; Prima® Peaches – 766342325903; Organic Marketside Peaches – 849315000400; Kroger Peaches – 011110181749; Wegmans Peaches – 077890490488. Loose/bulk peaches may bear PLU stickers with lot code(s) 4037, 4038, 4044, 4401, 94037, 94038, 94044, 94401. These products have been sold since June 1, 2025, online and at select U.S. retailers and supermarkets nationwide through August 19, 2025 (bagged) and August 3, 2025 (bulk/loose).

Consumers who possess the recalled peaches should dispose of them or return them to the place of purchase for a refund and may request a refund or replacement.
