Recall Details
Raleigh, N.C., Jan. 14, 2026 — Pork King Good has voluntarily recalled specific Sour Cream & Onion pork rind seasoning products because a milk powder ingredient used in the seasoning has been linked to a California Dairies, Inc. recall for potential Salmonella contamination. Consumers are urged to stop using the affected products immediately and not to eat them; the company says no illnesses have been reported to date but is acting out of an abundance of caution.
The recall covers Sour Cream & Onion Seasoning 3 oz bottles with the following lot code(s): 329-5 (best if used by 5/30/2027), 004-6 (best if used by 6/30/2027) and 029-6 (best if used by 6/30/2027). These products have been sold online and at select U.S. retailers and have been sold since Sept. 15, 2025. Pork King Good is working with retail partners and the USDA to identify and remove any remaining product from store shelves and inventories.
Consumers should dispose of the product or return it to the place of purchase for a refund or replacement and may request a refund by contacting Pork King Good at [email protected]; customers also may call (414) 483-6562 during business hours for assistance. For further details or updates, consumers should check the company’s website and USDA announcements for additional guidance.
