Perrigo Issues Voluntary Recall of One Batch of Premium Infant Formula with Iron Milk-Based Powder Due to Elevated Levels of Vitamin D

Raleigh, N.C., Jan. 14, 2026 — Perrigo Company plc has issued a voluntary recall of three lot codes (totaling 16,500 cans) of store‑brand Premium Infant Formula with Iron Milk‑Based Powder because routine testing found Vitamin D levels above the maximum permitted, which could pose a risk particularly to physiologically vulnerable infants; consumers should stop using the product immediately and not feed it to infants. The recall is being conducted in consultation with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and no adverse events have been reported to date.

The recalled product includes the following lot code(s) and “use by” dates: T11LMYC — USE BY 11NOV2025 (Material: 975261, UPC: 050428318034), T11LMXC — USE BY 11NOV2025 and T09LMXC — USE BY 09NOV2025 (Material: 788362, UPC: 041220164578). The affected cans have been sold online and at select U.S. retailers, including shipments to CVS stores in TX, FL, CA, SC, VA, IN, TN, NJ, MI, PA, RI and MO beginning Feb. 6, 2024, and to H‑E‑B Grocery Company, LP beginning Feb. 2, 2024. No other products, lot codes or retailers are impacted by this recall.
