Recall Details
Raleigh, N.C., Jan. 14, 2026 — Hans Kissle LLC has voluntarily recalled 66 units of Hans Kissle Red Potato Bliss Salad because the top label fails to declare wheat, an allergen present in the actual product; consumers with wheat allergy or severe sensitivity should not eat the product and should stop using it immediately. The mislabeling creates a risk of serious or life‑threatening allergic reaction if the product is consumed by susceptible individuals. No illnesses have been reported to date.
The affected product is packaged in a 16‑ounce clear plastic container with a white lid, UPC code 036217673706 and Use By: 8/20/25 on the top lid; the top label incorrectly reads Hans Kissle Red Bliss Potato Salad while the front label and actual contents are Hans Kissle Tri Color Twist Pasta Salad. Lot code(s): 66 units produced under the same labeling error. The items have been sold online and at Stop & Shop retail locations in MA, RI, CT, NJ and NY and have been sold since Aug. 20, 2025; they may still be in consumers’ refrigerators.
Consumers who purchased the affected containers are urged to return them to the place of purchase for a full refund or dispose of the product if returning is not practical; customers seeking a replacement or refund may request one. For additional information or questions, contact Hans Kissle customer service at [email protected] or by phone at 978‑556‑4500, Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. EST. If specific lot codes or further distribution details are needed, consumers should consult the retailer or the company’s website for updates.
