Recall Details
Raleigh, N.C., Jan. 14, 2026 — Gracie’s Kitchens of New Haven, Conn., has voluntarily recalled all ready-to-eat fruit and vegetable products produced at its facility between Nov. 4 and Nov. 13, 2024, because sampling has identified Listeria monocytogenes in the environment. The bacteria can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, the elderly, pregnant women and people with weakened immune systems; pregnant women can experience miscarriage or stillbirth. Consumers who have these products should not eat them and should stop using them immediately.
The recalled items include a broad list of packaged produce sold under Gracie’s Kitchens and several retailer brands with various lot code(s) and sell-by dates. Affected products include (but are not limited to) Peppers & Onions (lot code(s) 85316-10001, sell-by 11/12–11/22/24), Fajita Mix (85316-10002, 11/12–11/22/24), Sliced Mixed Peppers (85326-10007, 11/12–11/22/24), Broccoli & Cauliflower Florets (85316-10009, 11/14–11/24/24), and many fruit bowls and cups (see manufacturer or retailer for full list). These products have been sold online and at select U.S. retailers in Connecticut and New York and have been sold since Nov. 9, 2024, depending on the item and sell-by date range.
Although most recalled items are past their sell-by dates and no illnesses have been reported to date, consumers should check home refrigerators and freezers and either dispose of the products or return them to the store of purchase for a refund or replacement. Customers seeking a refund, replacement or additional information may contact Gracie’s Kitchens at [email protected] or by phone at 203-773-0795, Monday–Friday, 9 a.m.–3 p.m. EST. Consumers with specific questions about lot code(s) or products not listed here should consult the company’s recall notice or their retailer for the complete product and photo list.
